Pay What You Feel is a benevolent dining concept which One World Cuisine has recently adopted in response to Global Warming. According to the United Nations, at least 18% of all green house gases come from raising livestock as food. A vegetarian diet is more friendly to the earth because it uses far less resources. The fastest way you can help our environment is to increase vegetarian meals in your diet. You will feel great too!
At One World Cuisine, Perth’s first fully vegan restaurant, we have decided to offer meals to the public on a "pay as you feel" basis in order to draw their attention to the urgency of immediate action to reduce the carbon footprint and to promote vegetarianism as an alternate and noble way to alleviate the pressure on the earth.
The restaurant is a simple and practical step towards encouraging all to consider a more vegetarian diet and to enjoy its health benefits. Therefore, our green initiative is part of a world-wide effort to fight Global Warming and to raise awareness about the benefits of a vegetarian diet.
We wish everyone the opportunity to taste our delicious vegan meals and help protect the splendour of the earth. Preparing tasty vegetarian meals is simple with the amazing substitute soy and vegetarian ‘meats’ now available from every supermarket. A large range of top quality frozen vegan ‘meats’ are available from the restaurant. We are willing to supply other retail outlets with this vegan protein. Please contact us for details. Should any one require help, One World Cuisine Restaurant would be happy to assist you in learning about cooking. We can give you the recipes our own cooks currently use in the kitchen. They are easy and fast to prepare. Funding for One World Cuisine restaurant will mostly come from the owners and kind payments by the public. Volunteers are always welcome. One World Cuisine will continue as long as possible.
